This might be the right place, I need some advice first off I was using a Centerfire antenna and a Pro-197 both are 50 ohm with 75 ohm rg-11and I got some 50 ohm lmr 400 and it was worse so I bought a Sirio GP6-E antenna with 3-5 gain and it did good for one day and it's not good again, I changed one connecter, should I go back to the rg-11 even though 50 and 75 ohm mismatch, What should I do any information is appreciated

If the LMR400 made it worse, either the coax is bad or there is an issue with the connectors.

As for the new antenna correcting the issue for one day, I believe there is a poor connection that was temporarily corrected when the antenna was replaced.

Of course, this is all speculation.
