trouble with my pro 96

hello all, when i try to turn my pro 96 on, this appears on the screen: (DSP LOAD, PC/IF, Port Flash Mem). i can usually get it to work by squeezing the front and back of the radio at the same time. when i tried to load some v scanners, what i had for the text for them were distorted. PLEASE HELP!!!! has anyone heard of this problem before? thanks ron

Check the manual and perform a full reset. If this doesn't fix the problem, it sounds like a trip back to Fort Worth for repair is your only option.

Sounds like something happened to the internals of your radio physically - certainly nothing that you can fix without disassembly...
