Just announced by the media, POTUS to visit Morrisville on Monday.

During the visit, Trump will tour FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies facilities used to support the manufacturing of "key components of the COVID-19 vaccine candidate" developed by Novavax.

I'm hoping to hear something (even encryption on USSS radios is good), but as for local/state comms Morrisville is now on the Cary system and fully encrypted, and SHP will use a statewide event channel for traffic control/route. Airport PD can be heard on the Wake TRS. Shortest route takes him down McCrimmon Pkwy and avoids the Interstate, that won't impact evening traffic too much.

ps: i never noticed before, but the TFR radius is about half the size for pence as it is for trump. makes ya wonder, are we more willing to chance it with a VP, or is he just harder to hit?

or is this just to re-enforce a VP's sense of self-worth?
