TRX-1 ISSUES

New TRX-1 will not allow me to import the Newark EMS REMCS to any scan list . Could it be the scanner needs an updated sd card ? Everything else works just fine.

According to the database their VHF isn't used anymore and They are on this system New Jersey Interoperability Communications System (NJICS) Trunking System, Statewide, Multi-State - Scanner Frequencies
Other than Dispatch and University Hospital Newark - Security. The channels in between are marked in the database as encrypted and the TRX-1 Software doesn't put the Encrypted TG's into the scan list.

I get encrypted talk groups from EZ Scan sometimes. Sounds like a busy signal on a telephone.

When the TRX-1 receives an encrypted signal, the user can select the audio output: busy phone signal, noise, silent, etc. It's in the menu.
Also, users may want to input certain encrypted talkgroups noted in RadioReference manually anyway using the "Edit system" function as encryption may be part-time.

It let me import the analog channels fine. If it is not importing encrypted channels for you click on import options (under scanlist selection box) and make sure you haven't checked either box for encrypted talkgroups/channels. I import encrypted channels/talkgroups often.
