I'm trying to ID the following frequencies which I believe are coming from NY State. (I'm across the lake north of Toronto)

155.595 CT 107.2
158.850 CT 141.3

I have searched the RRDB and I could not find any matches with these particular CTCSS tones for the exception of 158.850 CT141.3, but it's an input frequency for the works dept in Beekmantown, Clinton County which is way too far for me to receive.
Both of these frequencies are definately repeater outputs.
Anybody in New York recognise these? I'm sure these are coming from NY State somewhere because that's the only US State I can receive VHF/UHF from my location.

btw I tried searching neighbouring states like PA and OH with no luck.

there is the question of whether or not the 158.85/141.3 signal ever skips into the repeater in Beekmantown if you can hear it...

According to the DB the repeater in Beekmantown has an output of 156.210. This is not what I'm receiving. Like I mentioned in the first post, both of the frequencies I mentioned are definatley repeater outputs.

155.595/107.2 is the Livingston County Sheriff. I don't recognize the other one.

When in doubt I use the FCC and see if there is anythign that makes sense.

The Town of Niagara has a licesnse Attn. Police Department for 158.85 with a 75 Watt ERP. This should be enough for you to hear it in Toronto. I am not sure about the praticular law enforcement arrangement out there, so I presesnt this information as is.

If nothing else its a start.

Police agencies in Niagara County use 151.4 Hz. It is possible for a new transmitter to be on the air with a different tone, however.
