Does the TRX-1 have a Tune Feature like the PSR-500? I just want to monitor one frequency.

Unfortunately, no. I still have a Whistler 1040 just for that feature and another feature from the tune mode.

Yes it can, from the Main Menu scroll down to Program Menu, then Global settings and scroll down and you will see 2 options for Enable Record and Search Record. That will work for all the search modes like Spectrum Sweeper and Service Search modes.

Also to get into tune mode quickly just hit the Fn key then the 0 (zero) key.
