BCD325P2/BCD996P2: Turn off Search/Close Call

Somehow I enabled the Search/Close function and I can't find in the manual how to turn it off.
I went into the Menu/Srch.Clo/CloseCall, but what do you do next?

While scanning.... Push in on the squelch knob to cycle through Close Call settings... DND / PRI / OFF.

Ok, I got CC up, I don't get any choices, just a bar line with 2-7 and a SCR below that. I tried the Function knob and the No/Yes buttons but nothing.

Ok, I got CC up, how do you scan thru the choices? I tried the Function knob, but nothing.

Push the squelch knob repeatedly until the display reads "Close Call CC OFF". Owner's manual, page 19.

The reason I didn't see that is the function is labeled "SQ Squelch". And the fact the manual is over 100 pages makes matters worse.
