So, my new SDS 200 is the ****. So much better than the 996P2. I'm currently running a Omni X, but was thinking about putting up my Sirrio discone to play next to it. I'll get a small jump cable to go back and forth like the Omni has. My main question, how far away from each other should these be? If any.

as it’s receive only a few ft would be good! On top of each other by 3 ft or so would be ideal.,,

you only need to separate antennas when you transmit with them, rx has no set distances to worry about.

The Omni-X are sensitive to nearby metal objects as any antenna, the discone type only its top crown.

You can see here what a big metal object can do to the antennas gain and direction pattern:

A 1/2 wave at 150MHz are 1 meter or 3ft.
