two new talk groups

New/Unidentified MARCS Talkgroups

For the past week I have been hearing a new talkgroup coming off the Dayton site.

After careful monitoring I have found this to be:

ODOT District 7 - Freeway Incident Response Service Team (FIRST) - Dayton Area

I have entered it in database here.

This program started in D7 in August and they currently operate on I-75 between US 40 in Vandalia and Ohio 725 in Miamisburg.

A further search uncovered a FIRST team for the Columbus area (District 6) operating since 2001.
I have not seen any other references to them, has anyone heard them on the radio yet?

This probably isn't very important but at any rate today I heard a good bit of encrypted traffic on the St. Clairsville site (437)

The TG was 19776 however I couldn't find that ID listed anywhere........

I am using id search mode....in the past two weeks I have heard 6 or 7 random ( non osp) talkgroups on the St. Clarsville site .... I can only find a listing for two of them.....

as for the others,
one that has consistant traffic is 32864... it is definately a jail... could this possibly be the belmont or noble correctional centers?.....

The Warren County Correctional Institution (WCI) is now using MARCS.

WCI is state run and located right next to the Lebanon Correctional Institution.

So far this has only been heard off of the Lebanon site, and nil heard on their
VHF of 155.5800 for the past few weeks.

Heard this talkgroup active on Sunday with
"Convoy Commander" talking to several other convoy units.
One vehicle had a flat tire and had to stop to fix it, apparently traveling on I-75.

I have re-labeled the talkgroup on the database to reflect this.

I heard TG 9856 a couple of weeks ago a along with someone else. I looked in all my sources along with the RR database and colud not find it listed,talk was about a target and not doing anything yet.Posted on the yahoo group but we did not get any replies except from each other.

I've been listening to 51152 off the Columbus site and can't quite put my finger on who they might be. They have not said anything sensitive thats why I'm posting it here. It kills me when I can't place them.Thanks

I'm hearing traffic on the Ashtabula Tower on 21056. Mention of 'Woodlawn', 'Central Ave', and 'Medic 6 responding'.

Just heard 'Medic 4' calling 'out at Columbus'

Sounds like an EMS provider of some sort.
