Two questions...
I programmed my Pro 2055 with the frequencies for the Arkansas National Guard at Fort Chaffee, AR with Win97. It is a Motorola system. Shouldn't I be able to hear control channel noise if a manually scroll through them? I sat on the bank they are in for over an hour, but didn't hear anything on any of them.

Second question...
I did a search of the FCC Database and came across this trunked group.

Site: 1 FORT SMITH, AR
Frequency: 854.73750000 V 856.21250000 V 857.21250000 V 858.21250000 V 859.21250000 V 860.21250000 V
Site: 2 HARTFORD, AR

Site: 3 BARLING, AR
Frequency: 854.56250000 V 858.71250000 V 859.71250000 V 860.71250000 V

Site: 6 HARTFORD, AR
Frequency: 809.36250000 813.96250000 814.96250000 815.96250000
Site: 7 BARLING, AR
Frequency: 809.56250000 811.71250000 812.71250000 813.71250000 814.71250000 815.71250000
Site: 8 FT. CHAFFEE, AR
Frequency: 809.28750000 813.73750000 814.73750000 815.43750000

I have downloaded the EDACS system from the RR database, which has 22 of these frequencies from
http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=2241
Would it work if I programmed in the other frequencies that I am missing with what I have already?

A further check of the licensee lists a total of 60 frequencies that are trunked that appear to be part of the same system on Radio Reference.

I believe for this system.

You will need to setup a custom table.

Yes you should be able to hear a CC. If you can't hear it then there is another probem.
Missing frequencies maybe? Or just not close enough. If the system doesn't have a lot of power.

Not sure how you got the County System programmed.
The different sites will need to be in separate banks.
Correct LCN Order.
You say you downloaded it, so it seems like it should be programmed correctly, but if all the sites are in one bank that would be wrong.

The other frequenices are the inputs to the repeaters.

I must be missing something on the Ft. Chaffee Motorola system, because I have never heard anything on it and I'm considering just deleting it.

On the county system, I have them in separate banks and I have the same talkgroups in each bank. I didn't know if that's where they should go or if I should separate them somehow.

As stated by by BaLa on Ft. Chaffee Motorola system, a custom table is essential so even if you have CC noise it will not provide audio in Trunk Mode. However, it would stop on coms and display an ID with no audio.

Your county system should be correct if you used Web Service to import. I would have repeated talkgroups for each bank also.

I'm not sure what a "custom table" is? I have no CC noise on any of those frequencies and have never heard any other audio or saw any ID display.

The county system is working alright, but I did program in some of the frequencies from the FCC list that aren't in the EDACS system I downloaded from the RR Database and all of them had voice traffic. I believe two had CC noise and voice. I also recognized the voice of the dispatcher from the Ft. Smith system.
