I am having a problem with the L/O for groups within a system not being downloaded to the scanner. I will lockout a group save the change(on the group window) and then download to the scanner. After download all of the talkgroups are on, none are LOCKED OUT !!!!

Any thoughts or ideas?

On the Main screen in the software hit edit and go to quick keys and check there to make sure you have it locked out from there.
Also when dowloading to scanner make sure you have the lower three of four boxes checked.
that way only the once you unlocked will be enabled.

If you're using the single box that's to the right of the "quick key" box on the "group information" screen, that only locks out the group itself - not each individual talkgroup.

If you want to lock out specific talkgroups, look just below the "quick key" box in the area where you edit the talkgroups themselves (ID and name, etc) - the "LOCKOUT" field (or "UNLOCKED") is there.

Yes I do want to L/O certain groups within a system. So I go to the group window and click on the L/O Button for that specific group. On the download page I also have the bottom 3 boxes checked. Still to no avail...

It seems to me that the software does not save the changes! It turns on all groups.
Also it will not save system attributes i.e. backlight fn. iallways keep it on indefinite, willread the scanner make changes then dl back to scanner and the backlight changes to default.
