Has this europian model been released?A friend of mine ordered a 996t from HRO i think he said and his 996 will program all of 800mhz no gaps is this a glitch or what?I told him he was seeing things until i programmed it myself can't say it picked up any signals as i wasn't there long enough to test that part but i do know it exepted the full freq range into memory..Is it possible that a govorment version was shipped out by mistake?Or something wrong with the scanner should he send it back? Not that it would be any benifit just think it's very strange i am gonna see if he will lend it to me tomm for a bit just to see if everything functions as it should as he is new to scanning and i am very interested in this scanner to see whats up with it..Upman can you answer this were there any govmnt models released? With full band coverage?

The UBCD996T is the Australian and New Zealand model. There has been no indication it will be released in Europe. The newest official Euro scanner is the UBC785XLT.

I have a question regarding the difference between the UBCD996T and the BCD996T. I am buying a new 996T to go along with my BCD396T which works great. If I could purchase either the UBCD996T or the BCD996T for the same amount of money, which one should I lean to? Some of the scanners that I have are UBC and I have no trouble with them at all.
Thank you for any help ?
