I recently bought a UBC3500XLT dinosaur.

I am curious if there is any firmware updates for this since 1.01.0?

This is the European model being UBC.

Short answer - no
Uniden don't support the UK (European) market...no UK bandplan and never an update to be seen.

Yeah a very old scanner but a very good scanner.

And you're correct as I'm still waiting for updated Firmware for my USDS100 to fix multiple bugs and major problems with it.

I've never seen an update for my UBC3500 but haven't really looked either if there where any from a non US Uniden site. The BR330 seems to be the US version but had added shortwave and I've updated that once or twice. So Uniden though it needed fixing and it's from the same era as UBC3500. Did you notice something that needed a fix? There's some squelch anomaly that open with pure white noise, no indication of intermod or similar, and raising the squelch to full doesn't help either. Just continue scan and it doesn't happen again for a couple of days.

I havent had any issues with mine for the 3 days I've owned it..
