There was a lot of traffic from the UCA Techs yesterday afternoon on both Weber Simulcast and Mount Ogden on Astro1 & 2.

These channels are digital and the output from my UniTrunker setup was garbled and not understandable. My setup is simple -
Pro-2066 as discriminator and Pro-197 as output. The 197 is digital capable (or at least I think it is).

The changeover must be happening??!!

I wasn't aware of a way to run the 197 as both a discriminator and output for UniTrunker at the same time.

Astro 1 and 2 are encrypted most of the time, I don't expect that to change when on the new system either

Enos.....do we need to submit a request to have Astro 1 & 2 changed from "digital" to "encrypted"?

I could usually hear traffic digitally on my Pro-668 before on 57600 & 57632.

Probably 57600 for sure, last I was listening it was encrypted, 4096 is still in the clear but they don't use it much since they use 57600

Update on TG57632 (ASTRO-2). Several units, including base are/were operating here with P25 digital, no encryption. A couple comments about "on the air" talk.
