Hi,

I am trying to load up a scanner bank full of UHF Atlanta TRACON and local control frequencies. I tried looking through the FLIPS and Airnav, but not much frequencies at all. I also drug out the Atlanta sectional. Only a few frequencies there.

Thanks!
Caleb

Here is a website dedicated to air traffic monitoring in Atlanta which is pretty good
AirTrafficAtlanta.com - Featuring 9 channels of LIVE* air traffic audio over the skies of Atlanta and Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

Liveatc.net is also a pretty good website.

This should hopefully help.

Honestly, you probably won't hear much on them. Still mostly VHF in the terminal environment. The satellite sector F (NW) would probably be the most likely candidate since they handle most of the traffic into Dobbins. The VHF is 121.0 and the UHF is 268.7. But like I said, most of the traffic I hear going into dobbins is on the VHF of 121.0.

The other north satellite sector, P, (NE) is VHF 126.97 and UHF of 239.275.

127.9 handles the south arrivals, it has a UHF of 379.9.

119.8, (SW) satellite has a UHF of 343.6.

381.65 is the UHF for 128.57, (SE) satellite.

I cannot think of any others off hand, such as the NE arrival. There may not be any others either, could sorta be combined for arrivals into Hartsfield thus why only the satellite sectors have the UHF freqs except for that one.

I would be really surprised if you could hear much of the TRACON freqs up in Blairsville, that is a pretty good distance.

Alright, I didn't think there would be much activity on them anyway. For me, It is 10X easier to get UHF than VHF. I can get a UHF ARTCC sector 60 miles away with the same quality of a Tracon 15 miles away on VHF :)

I'm a pretty good ways up, but put a 10db preamp and a nice tall antenna and we might be able to get kickin in good-extreme conditions.
