First pursuit was in the SLC area and lasted about 15 mins weaving throughout the west side of the city. Ended and had a foot chase with 3 suspects who were all taken into custody. There was 1 UHP Trooper that had some type of hand injury.

Second chase started in Utah county but ended up on I-15 coming into the Valley. Speeds were 90-105 MPH and driver was possibly 10-55 (DUI) They were able to spike 3 of his tires. The chase continued and suspect rammed multiple trooper cars. They finally boxed him into the wall. Reports of some minor trooper injuries.

All in All the UHP were VERY buy tonight. I hope the injured troopers will be able to quickly recover.

Viper, those guys that go to bed early miss all the fun. I got to listen to both pursuits tonight. When the second one started I thought, "The Highway Patrol...AGAIN?"

Sure was a lot of confusion at the end of the first pursuit on whether they had gathered up all the outstanding bad guys/gals. With the changes to the radios that has been going on it makes it now so all the cops in the valley can go to Regional. Tonight I heard a couple of SLC PD's finest talking to UHP dispatch. Since I have two scanners I had one on SL Regional listening to them calling the pursuit and the other one on SLC PD Pioneer listening to them getting into position. Very cool.

Quite a night of listening. This is what scanning is all about! :D
