We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

I finally upgraded my computer to a computer using Windows 7, 64 bit. My old computer used Windows XP where I can record live scanner feeds and radio traffic with my scanner. I use the recording program Voxtofile to record. Now with the new computer, I am having trouble recording live feeds. It tells me I do not have a recording device. I have an onboard based sound card. Do I need to install a separate sound card to record live feeds?
