Understanding Updates

I see dB updates as below, but don't always understand the significance. I was hoping ya'll could educate me.
"Updated 23 Talkgroup Categories" - What would this be and how would I know if I need to download these changes?
Changed Site # 026 (Site 26) to 026 (Site 26) - it doesn't appear different to me ...

Wouldn't then "Site 32 freq update" make more sense as the "Changed" description?

Lots of things in this world would make more sense if people used plain english to describe things, but unfortunately the system isn't set up to do that. Great question though, I've seen that and sometimes couldn't find a thing different nor did it update in the scanners database. So what was the change?

If you see Updated XX Talkgroup Categories made by Lindsay, that's him preparing a system for the new Broadcastify Calls platform (getting the TGID's linked up to the audio archives).

Often times updates to trunked Sites are minor changes like spelling corrections, updating a neighbor list, adding a call sign, etc.
