Uniden 325 problem

I am in the process of programming some analog frequencies into the 325. What I have noticed is that every 2 seconds the audio becomes attenuated for about a .25 second and I lose part of what is being said. I have noticed this happening on any frequency Throughout the entirety of any transmission being listened to. It is consistent and It is quite annoying. I never had this problem with the 125.
Is there a setting that may causing this to happen on the 325?

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Yes. You have one or more of your priorities enabled. Channel priority, close call priority, or weather priority. Just turn them off To stop the intermittent audio.
