Uniden 396Xt P25 Decode Rate

Can someone post how to change the P-25 Decode rate. This is the rate that you can vary from 50-200.I would like to change my rate but Uniden was not able to assist me with this over the phone today when I called the 1-800-297-1023 number.Can any one make this as easy as possible to make the adjustment.Need to know how to do this step by step and how to get into the menu mode to make the adjustment.Thank You.

I have my BCD396XT P25 adjust level changed from the default of 050 to 200. Then when scanning if you press Func then press down on the dial and then Func and press down on the dial again you will notice at the bottom of the screen the error rate. You want to find a setting that keeps it lower (around or close to 0). You can try it at 050, 100, 200 or try numbers in between and then watch the error rate to find out what works best for you.
