uniden 898t scanner programming

Need help in progamming. I've got 13- 800 freq to put in and i've got the seperate ID channels. For ex: 800 band is 868.175 and then i have id Numbers as 8688, 865 9392. How can i program them in??? Also in same postion with the 246xt handheld as well. Help alvaff

It would be helpful if we knew which system you were trying to program...however, from the way you asked the question, I kinda suspect that you might be having some problems understanding trunking. We have a wiki article on Trunking that should get you on the road to understanding. Read the basics and FAQs first. (anything in blue is a link).

Once we know what system you are trying to program there are several folks here that can help. Software wise, ARC246 (for your BC246) and ARC898 (for your 898) from BuTel are pretty much the champs, but don't overlook Scan Control (which will work with both scanners) as well.
