My friend has asked my help by programing his 898T, for use in our office. It is a traunk tracker III. My question, will it program P-25 systems, or just conventional trunked systems? Help anyone? I'm not familiar with this radio.

The 898 doesn't do digital.

I have two of these scanners and I love them both. It only does analog trunking and conventional frequencies. It does not do P-25 even though I sure wish they did!

Only does analog as noted above, no P25, but it is a excellent radio have one myself that i dedicate for LTR, and CivAir, and MilAir.
