Uniden 996XT problem

On my 996XT doing a feed, I have noticed on at least 2 ocasions that I either awaken or get home to find the scanner displaying a TG but the sound is CC audio. I have never had this happen on the 996T feed scanner. To get the scanner to work again requires pressing the scan button. Anyone else notice this occuring on the 996XT?

IIRC, this can happen if you have the squelch set too low and / or end code detect set to ignore.

SQUELCH is set at 04 same as the 996T. End code I believe is OFF but I'd have to check. Both scanners have the same programming.

I changed the end code on SAFE-T systems to ANALOG/DIGITAL but the system it was stopped on was the EVANSVILLE EDACS system which doesn't show an end code.

Mine does that every now and then. I do have it set to not ignore end codes - but I'll turn up my squelch a bit and see what happens.
