Hello, I live in Bloomington Indiana.
Cam someone help me program the p25 so I can listen to police.. not sure how to program a talk group. Uniden BCD325P2

Have you tried looking for youtube videos? They can be quite helpful. You could also ask to have your message moved to the Indiana forum, where you might be able to find someone local to help you out.

Sites are essentially transmitter locations.

You can scan whatever you choose using the quick keys to turn things on and off.

You can toggle the 3 sites on and off by pressing 1, 2, and 3 on the keypad. If all 3 sites are off, the system will not scan. You must have at least 1 site enabled to scan. While scanning the system, you can toggle groups on and off by pressing FUNC and then the group quick key number.

The file I provided is only for the trunked system. The frequencies you are speaking of are probably the conventional frequencies for Monroe County. You can create a conventional system and assign quick key 4 to toggle that system on and off. You can also divide conventional frequencies into groups such as Fire, EMS, Sheriff, Police, Public Works, etc. Let me know if you need any help with the conventional system. The system quick key is assigned to the system since a conventional system does not have sites. I can't tell you how active the conventional frequencies are. I am just a little out of range.

Is Hindustan for Martinsville? I'm still confused what sites mean and which one I should listen too.. I live by sample road Unionville

A site is a location with the radio equipment (transmitters and receivers). Each site uses different frequencies. There are 3 sites in Monroe County. There is a site in Martinsville in Morgan County, but you wouldn't hear much in Monroe County if you are able to receive it. From the map, it appears that Unionville is about equidistant from Hindustan and Bloomington. Those are the 2 sites you would want to try. If you are able to receive and scan both, it will give you better coverage of the county. If in southern Monroe County, you can enable the Knight Ridge site.
