Uniden - BCD396T or Pro 96??

Need help
I am planning a visit to the U.S. and possibly getting one of these. I basically want to listen to the OPP since they went digital. Which one of these is the best to buy? Where is a good place to buy them. Is it true the Pro 96 a few years older compared to the BCD396T? Can anyone help me?
