I owned one of those for a short time a few years ago. The constant beeping drove me to the point of selling it off. It did get good reception and I liked the green backlight though,it was soft on the eyes.
Press and hold the lockout button for 2 seconds. You'll hear 2 beeps, of course. This will restore all locked out frequencies.
