Uniden Glitch

While programing a EDACS System recently i encounteired a programing error from my pc connection to my scanner. While transfering the data to my scanner it some how disabled the LCN and TGID's information all my TGID's were 00-000 and when i reprogramed the ID's my scanner didnt pick up a thing. This morning i took the time to program by hand the system over and long and behold i have reception over 25 km from the source and no data loss yet from powering off. i havent tried reprograming it yet nor i think i will just simply do it by hand from now on. Has anyone else noticed this or have any insight as to the possible reaasion for it. I own the Uniden BC246T Handheld scanner.

the Uniden BC246t USAD, downloaded it straight from Uniden.com

I don't think it's the software as I've had the same thing with my 996T using ARC996.
