All you do is punch in your zipcode on this touchscreen unit, and away it goes and loads the channels from a database.
I don't know how much Canadian frequencies this database has, or if you have to load it in from the Uniden site.
The unit does come equipped with a USB.
Its an easy way, if you dont like programming a scanner. But how friendly is it, when it comes to editing the database it just loaded, to suit
your listening needs.

A scanner with so much that is foolproof to use!
It kind of reminds me of scanners from about 10-20 years ago.
All we had to do then was load in the frequencies, no trunking , no questions about which trunking system to use, etc.
Even if more and more agencies, states, municipalties go to un scannable formats there still should be enough out there to listen to and this scanner can be a game-changer!
