Uniden in SLC?

I live out in the boonies in NM but will be passing thru SLC next weekend. I don't have time to purchase online before I leave. Is there anywhere in SLC area (Preferably between Spanish Fork and Ogden, near I-15) that I could pick up either a Uniden BCD396T or a BCD996T? Looking for a shop where they actually know the units well.

Seems I saw a post a while back about a place in SLC that carried some good equipement. More on the HAM side though. Been a few months now and I can not remember what the thread was about.

Communications Products does not carry scanners. There isn't enough of a call for them. Sometimes the larger places like Best Buy, Circuit City, ect carry scanners. But it seems like, these days, that most scanners are sold thru the internet.

Agreeing with everything else that has been said, let me offer another way....

Order from Amazon, and have it shipped to wherever you will set foot for a few days. With Two day UPS shipping, you can pretty much ID the day it will arrive.

You might save some money that way too....
