Uniden Scanners???

Can anybody tell me the difference between the BC350C and the BC700a? They both seem to be the same scanner.

The BC700 features 800 MHz conventional coverage (no trunking), the BC350 does not. Otherwise, they are functionally identical.

i see the bc350a is the one that doesn't have 800MHz scanning and the bc350c does have 800MHz so i was just wondering what the difference was since they are a little different in price.

Ah yes sorry about that, you're right. If I'm remembering correctly, the BC350C was an updated model that combined the BC350A and BC700A into one unit with 800 MHz coverage and additional features.

Compare the specs of the BC350A with the BC350C and you'll basically figure out the difference between the BC350C and the BC700A. Off the top of my head, the BC350C has one more pre-programmed service bank, more pre-programmed searches, and more available user-programmable channels.
