SDS100/SDS200: Uniden SDS100 Mods

I am wondering if the Uniden SDS100 can be modified to add a discriminator tap to be used as an SDR receiver?
The scanner's warranty is expired.

Since this radio is an SDR, I do not think there is a discriminator to tap. However, there are some SDR based radios, I believe that do have an out put for I/Q and that is what you would want. I do not know how feasible that is for this radio.
