Jason, any idea when next week they will start shipping? I know that originally it was stated that shipping would start between December 5th and 12th. Now that you have said next week, can you pin it down further or is this actual shipping date up to the retailer? Or possibly Uniden is setting the shipping date from all retailers.

Multi-system Support: Is it a technical issue that prevents dPMR to be available in the US version, some issues with licensing ?
Preemptive &Priority Trunking: Are preemptive priority available in all system types or only in a few selected?

I really don’t have an answer, I can confirm that I have not received a production unit tracking number as of yet, however I’m still in Southwest Florida. Hopefully I get mine early next week as well!

Jason: Thank you for posting this! I look forward to reading this thread. Crazy story: I ordered my 150 the day it was first offered. On Dec. 1 my local city PD went encrypted. Talk about a big downer!!! Oh well...there will still be a bunch for me to listen to. But still........

I'm everywhere Focker!
Don't forget to update the FW when you receive yours...

1.00.43 Main (12/4/2025)

  • Fixed an issue where the P25 Inband Voice & Data control channel was incorrectly recognized.
  • Fixed an issue where a click sound could be heard when displaying "LINK" in P25 Conventional mode.
  • Fixed an issue when receiving ProVoice.
  • Fixed an issue with control channel handoff.
Nice to see they added the fix for the IV&D issue I reported several years ago in the SDS100/200.

Jason, What's the cell technology for the Sds100 vs the 150? Aren't they both Lithium Ion? Or is the 150 Lithium Ion and the 100 Lithium Polymer? Thank you

Correct, the 150 is lithium ion 2 18,650 cells in parallel and the 100 was lithium polymer pouches, 3 cells I believe.

Thank you for posting Kevin! We have asked that the 100/200 FW that fixes the same above are released next week as well. I'll advise what we hear.
