The last few days I've been getting a Close Call hit on my Bearcat scanner at 451.900 MHz. It's pretty active but I've never logged it before. After a long listen it sounds like it might possibly be a local plumbing/heating business. Anyone have an idea who is using this frequency?

Agreed, there is a license in Spectrum Direct that is owned by Prairie Comm and is located atop the Delta Hotel on 1919 Saskatchewan Dr.

Other freq's on that same license and location:

460.92500
461.42500
461.96250
462.46250

That sounds very likely and thank you for the additional frequencies. As an employee of the Delta I was on that roof many times to admire the hardware. One tip: when you walk to the edge never look down if you are afraid of heights. 😬

Also does anyone know what Regina taxi services are using for frequencies?
The used to be on 151 and 153 MHz. I have a 500 channel scanner and only about 30 channels are being filled.
RadioReference has an excellent reference for frequencies in our area but I was wondering if there is a more comprehensive online resource to inquire about unknown frequencies like those that pop up on Close Call hits on Bearcat scanners?
The old Department of Communications in Canada (now known as Industry Canada) once provided a searchable database that was pretty vague but provided enough information to figure out what you were listening to.
