Finally found out that im able to track each unit ID and tag it with a name so now I know what radio is being keyed up. I just started playing with this feature and I dont see a way to add this info using FreeScan so im adding it by hand one at a time. Not sure if there is a list of these unit IDs already but so far I have the following and will continue to add to it:

i57825 - Fire Alarm
i53336 - Battalion 1
i55434 - Battalion 2
i55503 - Engine 19
i55512 - Engine 28
i55399 - Rescue 16

The Wiki ("collaborate") is where you put this info, so everyone can edit and access in one place.

Put an "i" in front of the talkgroup ID in FreeScan.

Unit ID's

The TGID's you list are "I Call" numbers. They are a type of unit-to-unit talk-around for "private" talk between 2 or more units. The TGID's you list are for Birmingham Fire Department.

I think you're getting things confused... Entering them in a scanlist as "i" (Uniden) or "Private" (GRE) allows you to label them, so "Engine 41" shows up on the display instead of "UID: 2134"
