I monitor a fire departments radio and I was wondering if anyone knew of a CAD system or someway to track units on calls and when they are OOS? Thanks in advance. For my own use I use a spreadsheet now but it's not very automated.

Unless they offer it to the public like Toronto or Hamilton do over here in Ontario, Canada, you'd be out of luck unless you're part of the department I would figure.

Here's two more online versions of basically the same thing.

...to what end, though?

The Phoenix FD has some calls listed on a public website, but not all calls are listed and not all units are listed.

There is no CAD software that I know of that can obtain an agency's current unit status and provide it to third parties.

Okay. I don't think you're going to have much luck reliably obtaining that info.

This is what Phoenix Fire puts out for public information about calls. Frankly, all Fire Departments with an IT section should have something like this for their communities.

It depends on the agency. Some do show calls online and some don't. Pinellas County has a good one: http://www.pinellascounty.org/911/cadpublistnight.htm . Before HIPAA, they used to show the addresses. There's another, more sneaky option which may not be legal. If they use old-school style pagers and you know the frequency, you can decode their pages with PDW.
