Hi there
Unitrunker V2 doesnt recognize rtl-sdr v3 ?
The device recognized in the device manager (win10) as Bulk interface
and other software (sdrsharp sdrangel sdrtrunk ) recignize it as RTL2838 and R820T Tuner
Where is the problem ?
Thanks For any direction
Regards

I read yesterday that you have 3. If that's the case, unplug all but 1. Then follow @lwvmobile steps in this thread.

RTL-SDR V3. Works fine with SDR+ and will populate on Radio tab in Unitrunker V2. But will not play. Again, works fine with SDR+, will show on radio tab in Unitrunker V2, but will not play. What did I miss? (I have 4 other RTL-SDRs that work fine.)

Is another program using that SDR when you try to listen in SDR++?
Have you tried to reinstall the driver in Zidag?
Have you ensured no programs are using it and then disconnected and reconnected it?

I checked, no other programs are using the SDR. I followed the instructions and reinstalled the driver 3 times with Zadig. I tried the reboot/disconnect several times. Unitrunker is seeing the unit, but will not play. I have 4 other units that will play with SDR+ and Unitrunker V2.

Hmm, ok, so the issue is with Unitrunker. I misunderstood. Can you screenshot the radio and VFO windows in Unitrucker for that specific SDR? What type of system are you listening to?

Problem solved. It seems the RTL-SDR I was using, is not "real". I have ordered a few "real" RTL-SDR's, and they work fine, first time. Something about the knock-offs that don't like Unitrunker. All is working now. (still odd, though)

On my computer device Manager. showed "Bulk-in, interface" on the Universal Serial Bus device. I started Zadig-2.6. I put a check in edit box. Then I type RTL2832UHIDIR. The Composite Parent, usbccgp(v10.0.26100.1882) to WinUBS 6.1.7600.16385 popped up. Then I click Replace Drivers. when finished, Bulk-in, interface was replaced by RTL2832UHIDIR in Windows Device Manager. Unitrunker 2 worked fine. This is what I did to get Unitrunker 2 to work. plus all my others SDR software still worked. I hope I made it clear. Thank you.

Most likely it was the tuner chip. The E4000 and a few others are not supported.
