Should be some good listening in the next week as we approach the 5th anniversary of the invasion of Iraq.
The "Direct Action to Stop the War" website lists "multiple actions at multiple locations" starting at 7:30 am on their March 19 web-page at http://bayareadirectaction.wordpress.com/march-19-actions/ (complete with list and map).
They are also involved in a March 15 plan to "shut down the Richmond Chevron refinery by land, by bike, and by sea" (http://bayareadirectaction.wordpress.com/march-15-actions/).
"Coincidentally", the Coast Guard along with the City of Richmond and the Alameda and Contra Costa counties' sheriff's departments just held press demonstrations of their capability to protect security exclusion zones like, for instance, the Richmond Long Wharf (http://www.insidebayarea.com/argus/localnews/ci_8543271).
Almost makes me wish I weren't leaving for the weekend.
