The name should be changed to Great America. The park has been purchased by Cedar Fair (folks who run Cedar Point), and they have dropped the Paramount in the name. Cedar Fair has also purchased several other parks such as Knotts...

The four repeatered channels are now up and running, and slightly reasined. Here is the new assignments:
Channel Old New
1 Operations Security secondary
2 Merchandising ...same
3 Security (Primary) ...same
4 Entertainment/ Operations/
Fireworks Maintenance

....frequencies and tones remain as per the information in the database.

So the only real changes are the name of the organization and Channel 1? Or did I read the three other channel updates wrong.

My apologies, I wasn't as clear as I should have been. I forgot that the simple alignment formatting I was trying to do would get lost.

You are correct, Channel 1 is now used as a security secondary.
Channel 4 is now used as the Operations/Maintenance. 800 units are the operation units. 400 units are the maintenance folks. It is no longer used as Fireworks/Entertainment.

I'll try to give an update in September post Labor day and see where they coordinate their fireworks. When Paramount was running the park, they'd run fireworks on Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day. The new owners have cut that back to just Labor day...
