SDS100/SDS200: Updating Database: Does This Update Favorites List?

I just recently got an SDS100. I downloaded the latest firmware and database to the Sentinel Software. I had previously had data there, including my Favorites List, from my BCD436HP scanner.

When I update the database, does it update my Favorites List data, as well, or do I need to manually update the lists? If so, is there an easy way to do this?

What updates to the favorites list are you referring to? The Global Database has frequencies/TGs, and you can then use these in a favorites list. The Database update doesn't modify which freqs/TGs are in your favorites lists. That needs to be done manually (which is a good thing).

I believe he's asking if he updates the database in sentinel will it update his favorites lists

When you update the database, it does not update any favorites lists you created. You must enter updated info yourself.

I find it very easy to make changes to favorites lists manually using Sentinel.

I just meant there isn’t an “update my fav list from db” button on the menu.
