USN exercises

I see a report on Milcom- and no doubt it will show up on the UDXF if it hasn't already - that there's some sort of exercise going on off the Florida coast. Trigraph (3 part) callsigns are being used. Freqs appear to be 3167 and 5717 with a mix of voice and digital (no you won't be able to decode it...)

Just thought I'd throw this out there since there seems to be a little interest in it....73s Mike

Thanks Mike! So far I've heard odd-sounding digital signals on 5717 coming in very strong.

I don't know if they're related but I have heard lots of UHF activity 251.6 referencing flights to and from USS ship offshore as well as HF activity on 5399.5 reported to be the big "E" . I have not caught any of the aircraft callsigns other than identifying as flight of F18s working the ranges off Hatteras and Cherry Targets.(323.9)

today i was listning to 5.399.5 call sighns packman,e,w,california they were tracking aircraft or boats this wouldnt be part of gator would it.
