USPP on DC Fire 800 TRS?

Somebody posted on the ScanDC listserve that the US Park Police has started using the DC Fire 800 TRS, and discontinued using their own VHF system - which I find hard to beleive. Can anyone confirm this?

CA - I hear the 166 mhz freq just fine. I suspect human error - i.e. wrong PL, channel locked out, ect. 73s Mike
