V-Scanner Folders

I purchased a PSR-500 with additional programming a couple of weeks ago. I am also evaluating the Win500 and ARC500 programming software packages. I am having trouble viewing the contents of the V-scan folders. In Win500 I select Scanner\Virtual Scanner. The popup shows empty folders, I press refresh, and I see the titles for the folders - the same ones that are listed in the proprogrammed data user guide from GRE. I select READ for one or more folders and select DONE, but nothing changes on the general settings or other tabbed pages. I am afraid to try to actually save & load from the main memory on the scanner, because I can't see where there might be an empty folder so that I don't lose the additional programming that I paid for, or wipe something else out.

I thought that I could just look at the contents of the other V-scan folders without changing the actual contents of the main memory. I'm having similar trouble with ARC500. What am I doing wrong?

V-Scanner folders are separate databases. They have to be in working memory in order to be viewable.
