Hi all,

I am looking for an updated frequency database ( list ) for Vancouver BC Canada where I can obtain exciting transmissions via my Handheld Uniden Nascar Scanner. I am eventually going to upgrade to a newer one, however right now am not in a financial position to do so. Does anyone have any tips as well for my for better reception?

Sincerely,
Johnny

Welcome to RR. You can access our database from the top left tab. For example, here is the British Columbia Scanner Frequencies From there, you will see Greater Vancouver County, British Columbia (BC) If you see things on those pages of interest, you can program them in. At the bottom of each page, there will be a list of trunking systems. I don't think your Nascar scanner will get them. But there appears to be plenty to monitor without them. You should also read some of the posts in the
Prairies and Pacific Coast Forum

and don't forget...(not exactly the RRDB, but it IS a database...and note that anything in blue is a link)

British Columbia (CA) - The RadioReference Wiki

the ScanBC wiki also has dedicated forums for that area, along with the Prairies and Pacific Coast Canada forum we have here. Lots of sources of information! 73 Mike
