Verona NJ

Does anyone pick the PD of Verona NJ up? I have there freq set up as EDAC in Win96, and am unable to pick them up.

I've downloaded the settings direct from RR database... What am I missing?

Yes, they are EDACS. Do you have each of the five frequencies entered into your scanner, in the sequence shown, and starting in channel 01 of the assigned bank?

01 470.30000 02 471.70000 03 471.15000 04 471.20000 05 471.75000

Be advised that the Verona Township EDACS system is a narrowband system.

I have the freq's set up accordingly.... Please excuse my ignorance, but shouldn't a pro 96 be able to pick up a edac narrow band? If so, what am i missing?

Whether or not it should, it doesn't. Most public safety EDACS are wideband, most narrowband EDACS are business, so Radio Shack must have decided it isn't a priority.

He's right. RS left out the ability to do LTR & narrow-band EDACS. Your scanner won't be able to receive Verona...

Buy a Uniden scanner. You won't be faced with any unpleasant surprises such as this.
