Wonder if that was part of your noise situation? Poor signals, no matter what the cause, into a repeater will cause noisey processing at times OR was it honest to goodness random atmospheric noise?

WE have been there over 17 years, and this UHF reception problem started about 3 years ago and keeps getting worse. I program local UHF business frequencies with strong signals. So the noise can't be a reception problem. I don't know what the problem is. I'm thinking atmospheric noise has to be the cause.
