Virginia Beach Vacation Freqs

I am looking for just a few freqs to monitor while I am on vacation in Virginia Beach.Mostly Police freqs, thanks for your help.

VB, like nearly every county & city nearby is trunked. Be sure you take a compatible scanner with you. Most are Type II analog Motorola, except for Chespeake (Motorola digital) and Hampton (EDACS). VBEMS dispatch is still simulcast on VHF if you're interested in that.

I have been here at va beach for 3 days have listen to a homicide and 3 working fires

along with the ever so regular alchahol violation on the beach some great scanner time

there 800 system works very well
