Yes i know its a long time, but i would like to know what i will need to bring with me to monitor.
I know that there is no trunking systems in the klamath area, but the db for the kf area has not been updated in a good while,
will a normal non p 25 scanner handheld still work for my needs or will i have to bring a more advanced scanner for the kf and nor cal area??
thanks in advanced!

Still a lot of analog VHF in the Northern CA / Southern OR areas, with some P25 sprinkled in (couple of municipalities, OSRP, DOJ IWN, etc.). Been a minute since I've monitored K. Falls -- but I suspect not a whole lot has changed. Hopefully you can confirm things and have a great trip!

I can confirm that all of klamath firecom are All on firecom and repeated, (154.070) and kcso and kfpd are still the same frequency just had to learn that they are now 2200's (guessing)
