Volume Inoperative 396T

FIred up my 396T today and I can't control the volume. I can press the knob and hear the click of the contacts but the volume level does not show on the display and rotating the knob does not change the volume. It worked fine yesterday. I'm suspecting the mechanical switch has gone bad. Does anyone know if I can get a new switch from Uniden and if I can install it myself?

Problem solved (for now at least). I took the unit apart and separated the two circuit boards. Reassembled the unit and the volume works fine. Don't know if something is loose inside or if there was a poor connection in the connector between the two circuit boards. Oh well, at least it's working now.
