I may be mistaken but I think there is programming software out there for that radio that you can download.

This is what I found in the manual. On page 25 or 27 Push F then push CLR Pri Clr Key,Scro;; down to Delete. then press ent set key. Hope this helps as I am not real familiar with this rig.

Deleting Channels

If you don't already have a copy of the user manual, you can download a copy from Yeasu's website, here:
http://www.yaesu.com/downloadFile.c...E13611002.pdf&FileContentType=application/pdf

To delete channels:

First - Mask the channels in the bank that you want to delete by following the directions ("Masking Memories" / "To mask a channel's data:") on the top of page 25 in the manual.

Next - Delete the masked channels by following the directions ("Sorting for the Channel Number") on the top of page 29 in the manual.

That's all there is to it. :D

Masked channels can always be brought back by unmasking them. However, once you have sorted the bank using the procedure on page 29, those channels can no longer be unmasked. The sort procedure on page 29 is the only procedure that will delete masked channels. As far as I know you can safely sort banks containing masked channels using any of the other sort procedures listed on page 28, without having to worry about them deleting marked channels.

When you mask channels, you are actually marking them for deletion, making them unavailable for scanning by the system, but leaving the channel data intact and the channel unavailable. It's just like deleting them, but without actually deleting them. Later, if you change your mind, you can then follow the directions on the bottom of page 25 ("To unmask a channel's data:") to bring them back.

When you're ready to permanently delete these channels, you actually compress (reorganize) the bank they're in, using the sort procedure on page 29. This procedure first deletes the data from all of the masked channels, freeing those channels up, and then moves the data for the remaining channels to empty channel slots, starting at the front of the bank (assuming you sort it "A -> Z"), without leaving any empty channels between them.

I hope this helps.
