Can't get the VTAC frequencies into my scanners (RS Pro82, Uniden BCD996P2). Is there some voodoo I need to do? Thanks.

Why not give us some info on what happens when you try...Errors encountered? Are you programming by hand or using an app? Frequencies are VHF conventional so no "voodoo" should be needed

I was trying to program in the national VTAC frequencies...which have four digits to the right of the decimal point.
Example V-TAC 1 - 151.1375, V-TAC 2 154.4525. It's the .0025 steps that seem to be the problem.

I had not known about the SCVTAC freqs at all. Did you find them in RR?

What is your frequency step set to?

Should be 7.5KHz.

PRO-82 is too old and was made before the narrowbanding was a thing, so won't be able to enter the exact frequency, but still be able to receive with the rounded off one.

Audio will quieter with receiving a narrowband signal on wide band setting, but still allow you to listen. Also may get signals from other close frequencies.

996P2 should be alright being a newer model with narrownband.
